Threads of Fate was released back in the year 2000 for the Playstation One in the United States. I had just started a subscription to some magazine and the demo to this game was included. If it wasn't for that demo I would have never heard about this game.
You play as either Rue or Mint. Rue is a guy who's lady Claire gets killed and he vows to bring her back to life using the ultra powerful Relic. Mint is a princess who finds out her little sister becomes the next princess of the kingdom they are from. Her sister Maya sets out to make Mint's life a living hell. Mint decides to escape the kingdom and find the Relic to become more powerful than her sister. It's funny how two people looking for the same thing end up crossing paths.
There's really not much else I can say about this game. It flopped hard and is pretty dated at this point. It was one of the last game I fully played through on the Playstation One, and when I look back on the Playstation One I smile thanks to games like this.
Too bad this game never had a sequel...
