Goldeneye... Throwback Game of the Week

Before Halo, Call of Duty, Resistance, Team Fortress, etc. There was Goldeneye.

Goldeneye is the only game I can think of that is better than the movie it is based on. When this game dropped back in 1997 I made new friends. This was the multiplayer game to own for the Nintendo 64. I spent hours in the Facility hiding in the bathroom vent waiting for a motherfucker to come into my trap filled with proximity mines.
The graphics were so cool back then... Did anybody else think the gun in the picture below looked like a pencil?

Another noteworthy aspect of this game was the music. When you died the screen would go red and the infamous James Bond theme would play. It was as if you were the person being shot in the intro to every James Bond movie.

Hands down the best James Bond videogame to ever surface. Time is the enemy of every game, but when this game was hot it was fire.
