This was the first game I played for the PS3. At first I didn't think much about it. The infamous Ratchet & Clank formula was definitely there, but it kinda felt stale. As the game went on it grew into an amazing adventure right in front of my very own eyes. I'll be honest, the only other Ratchet & Clank game I played was Up Your Arsenal which I invested 20 hours in before my file got erased....That really doesn't matter though because this game has it's own story which is crazy if you actually follow it. Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is special because it's one of the very few games I beat more than once from start to finish.
The weapons are ridiculous and are more than enough of a reason to play this game more than once. It's the reason why I did. They improve so much as they level up, its tempting to max them all out.
The graphics were crazy back in 2007, but they might be a little outdated now that Killzone 2 is out. Nevertheless, the graphics for Ratchet & Clank are impressive for a Playstation 3 Exclusive.
